Our region faces recurrent flooding with the onset of every monsoon. Responding to this persistent challenge, Trans Virtual has established a Floating Shelter in Majuli, designed to provide safe refuge during floods. The shelter can accommodate up to 50 people and is equipped with essential facilities, including a hygienic toilet, a hand pump, and an overhead water storage tank, ensuring safety, sanitation, and access to clean water during emergencies.
Complementing this long-term intervention, Trans Virtual also extends regular relief and rehabilitation support across flood-affected areas of Assam. These efforts include the distribution of essential supplies and the creation of temporary shelters with basic amenities, enabling communities to recover with dignity, resilience, and confidence.
